THE HOTEL
The Manin Hotel is located in the heart of Milan, close to La Scala Theatre, the "Duomo di Milano" and the Fashion Quadrilateral, with a unique view over the city’s most beautiful park.
The Manin, a 4-star hotel with a century of tradition, is one of the most appreciated historic houses in the centre of Milan for its comfort and tranquility. It is located opposite the public gardens named after Indro Montanelli (who regarded the Manin as his second home).

Hotel Manin is owned and managed personally by Colombo’s family since 1904.
Its 124 rooms, of which six are junior suites and two suites, are provided with air conditioning, LCD satellite TV and free Wi-Fi internet connection.

Admission to the fitness room is free for all guests, with the following timetable: 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
There is a garage parking arrangement in Piazza della Repubblica, close to the Hotel.
The hotel also has 4 well-equipped meeting rooms, internet Wi-Fi for free, projectors, microphones and overhead projectors for hosting professional business meetings in Milan’s historic centre.
Inside the hotel there is also the Manin Garden, the pride and joy of the establishment, and the Manin Restaurant, with its traditional regional, Italian and international cuisine. ( Restaurant closed on Saturday and Sunday noon )
The Manin is part of Milan history
Its origin goes back to XIX century when some papers reported renting contracts for a house in contrada della Cavalchina ( now via Manin ).
Since 1904 the Colombo family has managed it, passing through four generations.
An important added value comes from all of this: the Manin is one of the last high level hotels in Milan with family management.
In August 1943 it was totally destroyed during a night air raid on Milan.
Rebuilt in 1948, it came back bigger, beautiful and much more modern.
These life motives have been always carried on by the Colombos, in order to keep the hotel always at top level in hospitality and quality.

MANIN GARDEN
Perfectly renovated, the Hotel Manin private garden lies on the ancient ruins of a 300 years b.c. Roman cemetery.
Typical 30’s Italian garden with a light lounge influence, the Manin Garden is surrounded by flower beds, statues and couches all wrapped by classic lounge curtains. Well known as after business aperitif place, it’s the right choice for brunch, parties, business lunch or dinner.
RESTAURANT
The Manin Restaurant, overlooking the private garden of the hotel, stands on the foundation of an ancient 18th-century inn. The menu offers Milan cuisine traditional dishes , reinterpreted in a modern light, according to the season and to the quality of ingredients.

A good story: La Cavalchina, 1418: What is it?
"On January 29th, 1865 the building No. 1418 in Cavalchina Street (now No. 7 in Manin Street) was rented for hotel use. The rent lasted nine years, until 1874. On that date the hotel owners rented also the building No. 1419 that had been used as a private residence till then. Thus the old inn Bettolino together with the two adjacent buildings became one hotel with its main façade at No. 1418 in Cavalchina Street."

Our 4 meeting rooms are extremely modular both in terms of capacity and versatility; they have sound proofed mobile walls which allow them to host from a minimum of 15 people to a maximum of 100 and are fitted with the most advanced conference and projection technologies.
The catering and café service of the hotel ensure an excellent preparation and quality level so that the ‘coffee break’ becomes a particularly rich and pleasurable moment for guests.
