The Masseria: Today the courtyard, once a bustling center of activity, boasts a tranquil oasis, where fragrant olive trees and prickly pear cacti thrive under the Apulian sun. At its center, a shimmering 20-meter pool invites guests to indulge in leisurely afternoons, surrounded by the timeless beauty of their surroundings. Inside, the interiors have been transformed into elegant retreats, seamlessly blending historic charm with contemporary sophistication. Vaulted ceilings, some of them re-built using ancient techniques, grace every room, lending an air of grandeur and spaciousness. Pietra Leccese stone floors, cool to the touch, provide a sense of grounding and authenticity.

RESTAURANT & BAR

RADICI RESTAURANT offers menus with simple dishes that aim to rediscover the authenticity of the local traditions and go beyond the concept of “local” cuisine: it enhances the genuineness of simple dishes that highlight the raw materials of the territory itself. This has been made possible thanks to the careful selection of local family-run producers.

MASSERIA DONNA MENGA offers 21 guests’ rooms, including suites and our Master Two-bedroom Tower Suite. Each room tells a story of the Masseria's past, with original features lovingly restored to their former glory. From the ancient, vaulted ceilings to the rustic simplicity of hand-hewn stone, every detail speaks to a deep connection to the land and its heritage.

Superior Room – size from 27 to 30 sq. mt.

Welcoming equipped rooms, featuring a bedroom with a king-size bed or twin beds, some located on the ground floor with garden view and others on the upper floor overlooking the courtyard.

Deluxe Room with Patio – size from 30 to 40 sq. mt.

Intimate and cozy open space room featuring a double bed, a living area and a very large patio with seatings and its own freshwater Plunge Pool.

Two-Bedroom Tower Suite - size 81 sq. mt.

Our signature two-bedroom Suite on the top floor of the Masseria’s ancient tower, with amazing stony vaulted ceilings. Master king size bed bedroom, ensuite bathroom with a walking shower and a view! The other bedroom features a king or twins’ bed, private bathroom and a lovely tower terrace overlooking the courtyard. The outdoor patio, with a breathtaking view of the countryside, where to enjoy the warm rays of sunshine while sipping a nice glass of Apulian wine.

A wide range of activities is nearby available to help our guests tasting the real Apulian experience: excursions with private boats to explore the Ionian Sea, cycling through the countryside, horse riding, vintage car tours, pottery wheel classes, gastronomic experiences and local tours can be arranged. 

The Salento coasts offer white pristine beaches, ancient fishermen villages and the enchanting Lecce, called the Florence of the South and the capital city of Apulian baroque. On the Ionian coast Gallipoli known by the ancient Greeks as the “beautiful city”, as well as Otranto, a classic white town on the Adriatic with its Fortress, till the white pristine sandy beaches of Santa Maria di Leuca and Pescoluse – the Maldive of Salento!

Ostuni, located in the heart of Valle D’Itria, is within easy reach of the other beautiful sites: Locorotondo, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica. By the sea most worth a visit are Monopoli & Polignano a Mare.
